African Masks
This work are based on Yaruba ritual masks, which are used to represent the spirits of the ancestors visiting the Village during community rituals.
Africana is a female spirit and  has the moon and symbols over the head representing fertility
Africano is a male spirit and  has the sun and symbols over the head representing masculinity
